Greg Saul

Alumni, Son of Stub, and most recently known as “the totem pole guy”. Greg returned to be on the island again the summer of 2024. Teaching kids and staff the art of designing, working and crafting the Totem Pole. Greg got to know all the guys up last summer and shared his experiences among them.

Drew Schrage - He is an excellent man to have with you in a muskeg bog as you can be sure he will have his boots on!

Eli - He is willing to learn new things and he is excellent at following direction - perhaps he can even attend to any medical mishaps that may befall your journey.

Buddha - I heard him say or was it a shout; "I love Camp Kooch-I-Ching" at least once last summer.  So whenever you have a rough patch ask him to repeat his favorite phrase and everything will turn out just fine.

Mick - Well what can I say - a man of resilience and creativity?  Who else would dream to put a tarp over the Council Ring, or jump on a 25' cedar log to paddle it to shore in near freezing Rainy Lake?  Obviously you can count on him to get all wet and be extremely happy at the same time.
