6 friends planning a remarkable canoe trip on Alaska’s Yukon River during the Summer of 2025.

“Our mission is to explore the wilderness with a strong passion and respect for nature in its purest form as a close-knit team of adventurers by embracing an adventurous spirit and living in the present to inspire others, especially the youth, through education and action.”

Meet the Team

  • Noah Imm

    TRIP DIRECTOR & MARINE VETERAN

A former Marine, and the trips’ leader. Noah Imm is currently a senior in mechanical engineering at University of Colorado Boulder. He started his outdoorsman’s career as a 13 year old at Camp Kooch-i-ching in 2007 with a trip down the Turtle River. He returned the next year and went on a backpacking trip to the Rawah mountain range and canoe trip on the Bloodvein river. He returned in 2019 after 4 years of service in the United States Marine Corps where he led a canoe trip down memory lane, the Turtle River. In 2021 he was promoted to Junior Camp Unit Head where he led the junior unit through the next three summers.

  • Ryan Boudinot

    MEDICAL DIRECTOR & MARINE VETERAN

Ryan “Buddha” Boudinot lives in Denver working as an EMT. Buddha was brought up to Camp through Noah Imm. The two met one another through the Marines and lived together in Boulder. Buddha’s first trip ever was in the Boundary Waters with Sam Moulton. Buddha has also tripped with Mick and Noah throughout his years at Kooch-i-ching. Buddha is currently going up to Camp this year as Intermediate Unit Head and riflery instructor. Buddha would tell you how much he loves the outdoors, but what drives him is the men to his left and right.

  • Mick Geehan

    NAVIGATION & MARKETING DIRECTOR

Mick fell in love with canoe trips at Camp Kooch-i-Ching in 2014 as an intermediate, 14 years old. Starting on staff in 2017 Mick has been a trip head, tennis head, evening program director, head of providers of the pemmican, midsession head, Red Lodge advisor, waterfront safety director, and head/creator of the infamous pump watch. Excited to do the trip with his 5 best friends, Mick is doing lots of research for the upcoming expedition.

  • Sam Moulton

    TREASURY & FINANCE DIRECTOR

Meet Sam Moulton A.K.A. “Fredo”. A YouTube chef, finance bro, lifelong Bearcat, train enthusiast, and a fantastic sailing instructor. Sam’s passion for canoe trips and the outdoors started in 2018 when he first arrived at Camp Kooch-i-ching as staff. With 5 years at camp he was the head of sailing, assistant unit head, trip head, waterfront safety director, lifeguarding instructor, and led several father-son trips. Sam is “pumped up” about the Yukon River trip, and is looking forward to the challenge of canoe tripping in a new environment.
